Elisabeth and Tom become two of the first convict children to sail to Australia with the First Fleet. We learn of their friendship, as we discover the circumstances that lead to their imprisonment, and eventual transportation to Botany Bay. Their story also tells us of the triumphs, trials and tragedies of that epic journey.
