Harry lives with his family on a sheep station west of Maryborough, Queensland. Aware of the trappers who trespass on the land to catch the wild parrots, Harry is skeptical of an ad in the paper inquiring about parrot sightings. Having seen two beautiful Paradise Parrots nesting in a termite mound in the south paddocks, Harry consults his neighbour about what to do.With the visit of naturalist Alex Chisholm, Harry learns that it is not only the actions of the trappers that endanger the parrots.
